If you're having issues with the font, it being really big & not fitting in etc, try downloading the font "Terminal"

Here you can download the Terminal Font, it should hopefully make the game text look as intended.

If the font in the game is all black, go to the Options menu and pick a foint color, for some people the font is black and I'm having a hard time fixing it without removing the accessibility of having multiple colors.
